Keeping to a schedule.

Always in the back of my head, i never forget that i should update this thing. The trouble is, i don't know if I should make daily, or weekly updates. I have been a bit active, but i did scan some extra sketches in. I've been cleaning them up in photoshop to learn that my scanner sucks. And since i don't rip pages out of my sketchbook, scan quality suffers :[

Congestion
For either design or fooling around, i wanted to add, add and keep adding to something to see if i can reach a point where you know what to filter out. I wanted something really easy to see, and perhaps easy to organize, and disorientate you. Should i try this again, i'll take information from a chart and add this burst of shapes to it. I took my initials and added boxes coming out from it. i found a red pen and had at it. It adds a nice spice to it i think.

Cramp
So i fill with a whole lot of shit here. Not much to say about this really. I would really like to get better with using thick lines, especially since they don't erase easy. So building skill and confidence to pack as much information into a single stroke is a goal of mine, since i like to back up and reinforce my lines.

Girls

Drawn from references (mostly those gothic/punk pinup sites). Really hit or miss i feel, and between going over with marker and scanning it in, i think it loses a bit of something. Faces are a weak point of mine, they've always been, so i want to get a lot of practice in.

Girls:Detail
Here's a nice little detail from the last page. I like the face. I worked hard on it. That nice smile is rewarding. Still some minor imperfections i'll have to iron out, but I'm glad to start shaping up.
